The Plan
Our journey together starts well before the camera rolls. We'll arrange an initial meeting to get to know you as a couple, hear your story, and understand what matters most to you about your wedding day. We'll also go through key details like your venue, schedule, and any moments you would love us to focus on. Then, closer to the big day, we’ll check in again for a quick follow-up to confirm timings and see if anything has changed. It’s a relaxed, friendly process designed to make sure we are all in sync and ready to go.
Our Process
Every wedding is unique, and we approach each one with the care and attention it deserves. From our first conversation to the final film delivery, we are here to make the experience smooth, collaborative, and joyful. We shoot on authentic Super 8 film, capturing your day in all its grainy, nostalgic beauty and craft timeless edits that feel intimate, cinematic, and truly yours.
The Wedding
On the day itself, we’ll be there from start to finish, capturing all the big moments and the quiet in-betweens that make the day feel real. Depending on your needs, there will be one or two Super 8 shooters documenting everything from morning preparations through to the late-night dance floor. We blend into the background, letting the day unfold naturally while we quietly record the magic on beautiful analogue film.
Our approach is unobtrusive and focused on capturing real, unscripted moments. We’ll work efficiently, making sure we get the coverage we need without disrupting the flow of the day. You can trust that we’ll be there for all the important parts, quietly documenting your day in a way that feels natural and relaxed.
The Edit
Once your footage is back from the lab, we carefully craft your wedding story. You will receive a four minute highlight film perfect for sharing across platforms or watching together on your sofa. We will also create a 60 second short cut for sharing, and a full footage film that showcases everything that was captured. Both the four minute and 60 second edits will come in 16:9, square, and vertical aspect ratios for maximum flexibility when sharing online. Everything is edited with care and intention, respecting the beauty of the film format so it feels just as magical as the day itself.
Your films will be delivered via digital download, and we will also post you the physical reels of your developed Super 8 film. Perfect for threading through a projector or simply holding up to the light to see each special frame, just as it was captured on the day.
Moments
Every package we offer includes coverage of the full day, from morning prep right through to the first dance and a few songs after. We will not sneak off after the speeches. We will capture those early moves on the dancefloor, then quietly leave you to enjoy the rest of the night in peace before the drinks really start flowing. Each package includes a beautifully crafted 4 minute highlight film, a 60 second cutdown for quick sharing, and a longer full-footage edit. The length of this final film depends on how many reels of Super 8 we shoot. You can also add extra reels to any package if you would like more of your story told. Below are our three packages, each one designed to capture your wedding in all its grainy, golden loveliness.
